Step-by-Step: Biodynamic Fish Farming

A unique biodynamic course delivered at the only biodynamic fish farm in the UK, in partnership with the Biodynamic Association.

The Step-by-Step fish farm course is an introduction to biodynamic fish farming. The course would suit those wishing to learn about the different aspects of the fish farm, living water, biodynamic methods and the brown trout we farm. The course content is drawn from our rich Ruskin Mill Trust biodynamic training that has been on offer for several years to staff, guests, volunteers and biodynamic trainees. This course is designed to be attended over three sessions – each session can be attended individually if required.

At the end of this course

Participants will:

  • Understand the basic principles, intentions and methods of RMT’s biodynamic approach to farming brown trout

  • Gain an insight into the day-to-day workings of a biodynamic fish farm

  • Gain a holistic understanding of water
